A Study on Financial Performance with Special Reference to Engandiyur Farmers’ Service Co-Operative Bank Ltd

Abstract

A co-operative bank performs a significant role as financial intermediaries and promoting the growth of industry and services in the rural area. It plays important role in the economic growth of the country. This study is to understand the financial performance of The Engandiyur Farmers’ Service Co- operative Bank Ltd. A study on financial performance gives an idea about profitability, liquidity; capital structure etc. Performance measurement interprets the financial health of the enterprise. Attention is mainly given on financial statement analysis of the bank. The study is done with last 5 years’ data.
