A STUDY ON PERCEPTION OF VALUES AND ADJUSTMENT AMONG IX STANDARD STUDENTS

The present study aims to examine whether there is relationship between Values and Adjustment of 9th Standard students. It also aims to study the difference in values and adjustment and their dimensions of students belonging to different groups based on Gender, Type of school and Leisure time activities. The results show that Girls had more Assertiveness than Boys. The students who have 6-10 members in their family had more Social Adjustment than those who has up to3- 4 Members in the Family. It is very much evident from the obtained result that there is direct relation between Perception of Values and Adjustment.
