Ethical leadership has emerged as a critical factor in shaping positive employee attitudes and behaviours in modern organizations. This study examines the relationship between ethical leadership and employee commitment, with a specific focus on the mediating role of organizational justice. Primary data were collected through interviews conducted with employees from various sectors in Gujarat until 2016. Correlation and regression analyses were employed to measure the strength and direction of the relationships. The findings reveal that ethical leadership significantly enhances employee commitment, and organizational justice partially mediates this relationship. The study highlights that leaders who demonstrate fairness, transparency, and moral conduct foster positive organizational climates and sustain high employee loyalty. The paper concludes with recommendations for strengthening ethical leadership practices in Indian organizations.
